Lucy + Jorge Orta
Lucy + Jorge Orta created Life Line on their return from their Antarctic expedition in 2007. The hand-made wall based works combine textile elements and the metaphorical life-saving objects suspended from painted, steel frames. Life Line refers to both physical or material survival and more symbolically to the spiritual needs of man, such as affection and solidarity.
