'Body Architecture – Study' is a wall-mounted version of the textile sculptures created by Lucy Orta since the mid-90’s. It serves as a prototype façade for a dome tent. The structure embodies the principle of community support so central to Orta’s thinking. The gloves and clothes attached to the surface establish physical links between individuals, symbolising the myriad ties that can be forged emotionally, intellectually, socially, and spiritually.
